I think this blog might serve as a better example of how to not manage your time well. I would finish some work, tell myself, "I'll write the blog entry last" and then realize 5 days later that I didn't actually write the blog entry.
So don't do as I do and hopefully you're actually posting every week.
As for this week, this topic was a nice combination of both some review, and some new things. I took a few different journalism classes back in my last two years of high school, so some of this information about plagiarism, how to properly quote someone, and likewise proved to be a form of review to me. What I didn't know as much about was all the information regarding anonymous sources. I feel like they appear so much in the news that I never really gave it a second thought that there was anything more to them than anything else, but if I actually stop to think about it, it would make sense that anonymous sources would require a lot of extra precautions to make sure it truly is accurate. After all, it could very easily be someone trying to play a joke or something like that. So it is really important that all these precautions and guidelines are put in place, even if it might seem like a lot to take in at first.
